The California Dreamer™ gives you 7 inches of support, with each latex layer providing a different degree of firmness. You get 2" of medium-firm latex, 2" of firm latex, and 3" of extra-firm latex. You can position the layers of natural latex according to the degree of firmness you want closest to you. We strongly recommend using a wood foundation or slat foundation with your natural latex mattress. DO NOT use an inner-spring foundation with The California Dreamer.™ Wood foundations provide the latex with proper ventilation, while also providing the sleeper with added back support. Our Frame Kit is a compact wood foundation which can be shipped via UPS and easily assembled by customer.
